Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran was born on the 17th February 1991 and is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and occasional actor. Both his voice and brand are instantly recognisable due to a variety of different aspects.
Logos:
Throughout all his albums and website designs he has incorporated the same typography and font continuously which causes it to become familiar and recognisable. Due to its' handwritten-style, it creates a personal and laid-back feel, which reflects the artists' personality and approach to his music while also forming a close-knit connection with his audience and fans. The uniqueness of this font also gives off a quirky and indie feel which coheres with the genre of music Ed Sheeran produces.
Fashion:
Sheeran is particularly known for his love of and range of brightly coloured, vivid tattoos that span most of his arms. These have become an important part of his image, portraying him as a fun and spontaneous artist who doesn't take himself too seriously.
Another aspect of Eds fashion image is perhaps his lack of it. Voted worst dressed in GQ magazine, he is renouned for turning up at award ceromonies and his own concerts in jeans, a flannel shirt and trainers. This gives him a young, school-boy like aura that both works with his personality and succeeds in making him appear approachable, down-to-earth and just a 'normal' person while he has rocketed to stardom.

Ed Sheeran keeps up hs brand of a cheeky chappy, with a great sense of humour via his strong media presence. Often active on instagram and twitter, he is known to post funny and relatble tweets and personal instagram photos of friends and everyday life. His photos are edited and enhanced with that professional quality many seem to possess on instagram, instead are very natural and authentic. He acts more like a friend on social media which is a whole part of his persona and what draws both young and old audiences alike to him.
